Bark is peeling off in spotted whith greenish-white and dark green.

Leaves are alternate, 3-5 lobed, entire or serrate margin.

Flowers open in April to May.

2-3 fruits are attached to 1 axle.

Distribution ; Hybrid of Platanus occidentalis and Platanus orientalis. In Japan they are mostly planted on the street.
